Alum Cliffs Gorge

Danny, Sarah and i went for a bushwalk today to Alum Cliffs Gorge, near Mole Creek.

The view was spectacular! The cliffs on the right are above the Mersey River, and on the left were ochre cliffs.

It was lovely walking through the rainforest. It wasnt a big walk (about 40 mins return), but it got a bit steep in places!

It was a great place to see, close to home and a nice half-day outing. Well worth the visit!

Table Cape Tulip Farm, Lighthouse & Wynyard beach

Today Sarah and i went to the Table Cape Tulip Farm. Sarah enjoyed wandering up and down the rows of tulips, looking at all the gorgeous flowers.

We then headed up to the lighthouse, and got to go inside and up all the stairs to look at the magnificent view from the top.

On the way home, Sarah wanted to stop at a beach, so we found a nice little one near Wynyard and had a bit of a play.

We had a wonderful big day out, and the weather was perfect!
