We packed up our camp at Wynyard and headed inland slightly to the Gunns Plains Wildlife park.
Some of the sights on the drive to the park.
Once at the Wildlife Park we set up our camper and took some shots of the beautiful camp grounds. This area is one of the spots within the property, the other spot is equally as nice down by the river.
We had a slight mishap trying to find our spot, we drove down the wrong road and ended up at a dead end in a very narrow spot. There was no turning around or disconnecting the trailer and turning around so we had to reverse all the way back out! Lucky the camper is long and easy enough to reverse LOL
After we set up we had a quick look around the park. Entry to the wildlife park is all inclusive while you stay on the property so we had a quick look before our proper go the next day.
That night we fired up the little pig cooker again to cook a roast chook. The fire attracted some of the locals who popped over for a beer and chin wag while getting warm from the fire.
The next morning was foggy and frosty!
But the fog soon lifted and made way for another perfect day.
So off we went to a better look around the wildlife park.
That afternoon we headed over to the Caves which Ill post about in the next blog entry :)
