Xmas Break at Mathinna

Our usual Christmas break at Mathinna is always fun and relaxing.

We do the usual relaxing at camp, a bit of 4WD'ing, and lunch at the local pubs.

Kayaks and BBQ at Meander Dam

It was a sunny Sunday so we took the Kayaks to Meander Dam and also had a BBQ lunch.

We more often than not use the drone when we are doing things like this but I never upload the footage.....I need to work on that more but here is a quick bit of drone footage.

Bakers Beach Boys Night

Every now and then we make a spur of the moment decision to go and have a night around the camp fire, so we did exactly that at Bakers Beach.

It was also Supercars race weekend so I took the TV!

Not a lot to say or tell other than we had a few drinks and good BBQ and the usual clowning around that boys do when they are on their own!

I cant be certain what these two are up to here but they seem to be very close ;)

Seven Mile Beach

We took the camper down to Seven Mile Beach near Hobart for a couple of nights to do some shopping and have some fun.

We set up at the caravan park.

My footy team finally won the Premiership after 37 years so even though I was brought up to not be a tattoo person, at the ripe old age of 47 I got my first tattoo!!

Go Tiges.

While I was doing that the others went and played a game of putt putt golf.

We spent time on the beach and went shopping in Hobart.

And we spent time messing around back at camp.

Not a massive amount of pics but it was a great weekend.

Cradle Mountain

We popped up to Cradle Mountain for lunch and to have a little stroll around.

Lunch was at the Peppers Resort.

We did the little Enchanted Forest walk.

And then caught the bus down to Dove Lake to have a look at Cradle Mountain.

It is always nice here, cold but pretty to look at.
