Xmas to New Year Mathinna Day 2

Day 2 started with an early morning walk...well Michelle does the walking, I eat the potato chips ;)

Mid morning a few more turned up and set up camp.

Polly the dog keeps an eye on everything.

We messed around near the camp site for most of the day, going for a bit of a drive around the area and playing around the river.

After lunch we took the trailer to get a good load of wood.

And before you know it the sun was setting and after a nice tea we spent the rest of the night around the camp fire after a relaxing day.

Xmas to New Year Mathinna Day 1

We headed up to Mathinna for the usual Xmas to New Year camping trip only this year we left on Boxing day and come home on new years eve.

We managed to get all sorted and on the road by around lunch time boxing day after a hectic Xmas day and hosting Xmas lunch at our house.

The Patrol and trailer sit a bit better now the Patrol has a 4" lift. I still have a few little weight distribution changes I want to make in/on the camper to perfect it but it is getting closer.

Not long after lunch we arrived at our camp grounds and set up and not long after a few others arrived and set up also.

A quick trip up the bush for some wood, a nice tea and and few drinks around the fire would see us out for day one.

Another Port Sorell Weekend

Michelles mum is holidaying in Tassie so we took the opportunity to spend the weekend with them at Port Sorell.

After work Friday we headed off pretty late but it was a nice day, we set up camp and had a bit of a look around the area.

The next day was another nice sunny day so we spent some time playing around on the beach and basically relaxing around camp.

Note to self...breathe in when someone is taking a photo ;)

Sarah loves playing with these things!

Back to camp for lunch and a play on the xbox for some!

Then back to the beach

Then back to camp for tea and to settle in around the fire for a few drinks. We had all the lads pop in for a visit too but didn't take any pics.

The next morning we packed up and went home after another great weekend up the coast.
