Last time we were on the West Coast for a 4wd trip it was wet and wild so we wanted to go back to Strahan during summer and try our luck on the sunshine!
We headed of Friday after work to do an over night stop at Bronte Park, at the old hydro village.
The drive up there is always nice and scenic.
Not long and we arrive at the old hydro village and find some grass to set up camp.
The weather was beautiful but as soon as the sun went down it was freezing up on the highlands, 6 degrees I think!
We had a nice counter meal at the pub, had a few drinks and settled in to a reasonably early night to be ready for a big day the next day.
